Challenge
A Philippine hospital was losing significant reimbursements to delayed and rejected PhilHealth claims — staff were manually encoding CF2, CF3, and CF4 forms from paper charge sheets, reconciling HMO letters of authorization across separate spreadsheets, and had no unified view of outstanding claims or billing ledger status per patient.
Solution
SyntraMed was deployed covering the full inpatient and OPD lifecycle. The billing engine was configured to auto-post charges on order placement and dispensing. PhilHealth eligibility checks were activated at admission and CF forms were set to auto-generate from the patient record. The 10-status HMO LOA workflow replaced the spreadsheet process, and role-based dashboards gave billing and clinical teams a shared real-time ledger.
